Ekow Yankey, Jr. is a young African American man who was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. In 1998, he joined the Newark Police Department. He works as Vice President of operations . He became a single father and was
committed to raising his son. One income wasn’t good enough, so he began to invest into real estate. Because his investments did well, Alonzo was interested in tapping into his creative side. He wrote and released his first novel in 2012, Living With No Regrets, a storyline of 3 black males. The book did so well locally, that he decided to invest into film production with, Living With No Regrets, King of Newark, The Fearless One and Fearless Two. With local and moderate success, Alonzo’s creative passion for making films continues to grow.
Now, he is presenting his latest film project, “A Father’s Pride”. An epic tale of two brothers. One on the straight and narrow, while the other is living a life of crime. Their father, a pastor of a local church dies and both brothers must do their part to carry on their father’s legacy.
