5.Accept making errors
Making fewer mistakes may be made easier if you are aware of your requirements as a company owner, but dealing with errors you do make is as crucial.
Smolarek urges business leaders to accept making decisions more quickly, even if they result in mistakes: “If you procrastinate because you are trying to make a decision, you are actually choosing to procrastinate. A poor choice provides you with feedback. The correct word is feedback, not failure.
Accepting your errors entails letting go of the pursuit of perfection. You should aim for perfection instead. How can you be the best at something, asks Smolarek. You make mistakes, try again, fail, and finally succeed. You only need to be successful the one time.
