Lalitha is a globally recognized leader in technology. She is a proud Sri Lankan Australian sales and partnerships executive with over 25 years of experience across enterprise and SMB sales leadership, as well as in building global/regional partnerships. She is passionate about building high-impact teams who deliver value and innovative solutions, while creating a diverse, inclusive culture.
Lalitha is a leader who truly lives her values, while delivering results. She is an experienced Board member with 12 years on operating and non-executive committees where she leads cultural change to achieve outstanding performance, being led by her core values of respect, integrity, compassion and equity. People are at the heart of what drives Lalitha, building trusted relationships with partners, customers and staff underpins everything she does. For example, during her time at Google, Lalitha was the DEI Executive Sponsor, investing in over 25 external organisations to accelerate DEI outcomes, leading 17 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and championing 1500-plus employees during PRIDE, Black History Month and Women’s History Month at an Executive level.
Lalitha dedicates her time outside of work to initiatives that advance the representation of the diverse and underutilised communities in Tech. She is an Advisory Board member for two non-profit organisations, Clu an inclusive recruitment platform, and The Mentoring Lab, which aims to improve equity and social mobility of young people in London. She also co-founded and is a Board member of OasisAfrica.org.au, a school in a Kibera Slum, which she helped to build from inception in 2006 to educating over 8,000 children over the last 18 years.
And when she isn’t driving cultural or business change, she is lighting up the stage with her singing. Lalitha worked as a professional session singer from 1993-2003 with a strong theatre background in singing and acting and performed on a professional basis within Australia and internationally. She joined the cast of ‘Buddy Holly’ during their 2001 Australian tour and had the time of her life performing in a singing/acting role.
Above all else, Lalitha loves spending time with her family. She has two beautiful children, Archie, who is 10 and Isla, who is 7.
