An entrepreneur survived the heartbreak of losing her first company to become a prosperous business coach assisting others in the growth of their businesses.
A woman recovered from failing her multi-million dollar company by starting two new businesses that are expected to generate £10 million in revenue over the next three years.
With her two enterprises, Angela McKillop, 42, already generates a £2.7 million annual revenue. Building on her background as a business coach, she has developed a new software called GrowthFlix.
She spent ten years creating a multimillion dollar construction business, but she was devastated in 2016 when it failed.
She made the decision to turn her expertise into a new firm that would help other companies avoid her prior mistakes.
She started by obtaining some certifications in life coaching in 2018 to complement her prior company management skills and be able to mentor others.
She established two training programs and made the decision to create content specifically for business owners, assisting them in expanding their operations and boosting their profitability.
It was something I became really enthusiastic about because I think it might not have happened if we had the proper direction, assistance, and support,” she said.
People do require assistance and support. If you know how to do it, it’s really simple to put into practice something as basic as a mindset, secure your company’s development and expansion goals, and make sure you’re spreading the risk.
Ms. McKillop can use the success of her own company, We Love Your Projects, which she founded in January 2020, as an example.
The initiative, which now generates £2.7 million in revenue, is a collection of specialized trade firms that install kitchens, baths, and other home goods.
In May of this year, she launched GrowthFlix on the Apple store in an effort to take her training programs online.
The app provides a variety of resources for business owners, including a Q&A session with Ms. McKillop.
There is a portion of the app that is free to use, but Ms. McKillop wants to persuade more users to sign up for the subscription, which costs £47 a month.
Numerous different types of people, from manufacturers and tradespeople to photographers, have been among her clients.
According to her, she finds it really rewarding to watch others advance and experience “lightbulb moments” when they realize they have enormous potential to expand their businesses.
“When working on the business, it’s important to concentrate on the profoundly impactful work,” she advised.
“Give it your best, look for chances, and be fully dedicated to your company objectives.
On the other hand, be sure you obtain enough rest, fresh air, nourish your body, and take breaks to refuel. When you locate the equilibrium that functions for you, you’ll know.
