Coach in London develops small enterprises to their full potential

One of the more then 5,000 mentors who are advancing small enterprises is a coach from London. As part of her Help to Grow: Management Course, Nikki McReynolds has signed up to join a nationwide network of volunteer business mentors to assist SMEs in realizing growth prospects.

Nikki sold Nikki’s Nursery in 2019 with the intention of retiring after starting from zero in 2014 and growing it to a company that earns £1.2m. Nikki, by her own being admitted, is not yet a reserved person. She has so been assisting clients in starting businesses in the the hospitality industry, educational, haircare, and retail fashion industries for the past two years.

As a representative for the Organization of Business Mentors in her region, Nikki now serves as a mentor to others, helping them avoid the errors she made when she was a founder. She also runs NMR Associates Ltd., her own consulting firm.

“My goal is to be the ‘buddy’ to other entrepreneurs with the experience that I didn’t have,” she declared. While each of us must travel their own path, we need not go it alone. Depending on the objectives of my clients, I play one of three roles in my business: consultant, coach, or mentor. You need to have acquired significant experience through tragedy or over time in order to serve as a mentor.

As a result, the mentor must possess more experience and expertise than the mentee and be able to impart that information. If you lack experience, you cannot instruct effectively. I’m eager to help others and lead them in the best way possible toward successful outcomes through the Help to Grow: Management Course.

I want program participants to feel challenged and grow as a result of it. I really enjoy helping others through volunteering, and I plan to do so for a long time. Nikki listed her favorite and most difficult aspects of mentoring. Nikki continued, “I believe mentoring is growing and is highly recognized by top firms as a go-to technique for keeping and engaging employees.

The best part for me personally is being able to help others. I enrich people’s lives in both personal and professional ways, and I pursue a cause that is a positive influence. The biggest difficulty I’ve encountered thus far occurs when the mentee ignores advise and keeps making the same mistakes. I don’t have all the solutions, but it’s difficult to see a precarious situation become worse when it might have been averted.

Nikki is also assisting with the planning of National Mentoring Day, which is scheduled for October 27 and emphasizes the significant contribution that the mentoring community makes to the UK’s economic development.

The government covers 90% of the costs associated with the Help to Grow: Management Course, which provides senior business leaders with one-on-one support from an accomplished and highly regarded business mentor as part of 50 hours of management and leadership instruction over 12 weeks. A countrywide network of more than 50 business schools provides the training.

As part of the group of companies hired to find volunteer mentors for the program, Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones said: “It’s crucial at the moment for businesses to be able to get excellent support like this.Businesses can discover the ideal mentor through the Help to Grow: Managing Course online platform and begin applying what they have learnt.

Volunteer mentors for the Help to Grow: Management Course receive a lot in return for their time and expertise, including industry-recognized guide instruction, access to qualified content, chances to network with other mentors, and the chance to participate in a national initiative to support the expansion of the UK economy by raising the productivity of small businesses.
