India and Pakistan agreed to stop the fire on Saturday, but the peace between the two powers of nuclear weapons did not seem to last, with explosions reported in the cashmere area controlled by India.
Omar Abdullah, Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, said in X that the fighting began in the capital city of the region: “The air defense units in the Srinagar medium have just opened.”
The initial announcement of high fire occurred hours after the fighting intensified on Saturday, and both nations launched continuous military operations with each other.
President Donald Trump announced the high fire in a position on Truth Social and said that the agreement was the result of the negotiated conversations in the United States, but the scope of the administration’s participation was not clear.
Pakistani and Indian leaders confirmed the Fire Alto Agreement, but did not quote the participation of the United States in their initial statements.
An official of the Indian Foreign Ministry said the agreement “was resolved directly between the two countries,” according to the New York Times.
However, Prime Minister or Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif thanked Trump for his “proactive role for peace” and the United States for “facilitating this result, which we have accepted in the interest of regional peace and stability.”

“He will continue to do so,” Jaishankar wrote in X.
The announcement of Alto el Fuego of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, in X did not mention the participation of the United States.
“Pakistan has always struggled for peace and security in the region, without compromising its sovereignty and territorial integrity!”

The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, said in a statement that Vice President JD Vance with the leaders of the two nations in the last two days and that the countries agreed to “begin conversations about a wide set of problems in a neutral site.”
Indian or Pakistani officials have not publicly confirmed that they have accepted such conversations.
Jaishankar said he played with Rubio on Saturday morning, but did not detail the participation of the United States in the offire Deal conversations.
