Apple The volunteer violated and ignored a 2021 decision that came out of the case of epic games, Judge Yvonne González Rogers said in a decision on Wednesday.
She wrote that Apple Alex Roman’s Vice President “Oderlight Song” to the Court when Apple had decided to impose a 27% rate on some purchases linked to the App Store of its yours.

The decision is a surprising repudiation of Apple’s conduct in the Epic Games trial, which ended in 2021 and was appealed in 2023.
While Apple won the vast majority of counts in the original test, Epic Games won hidden concessions within a request for 180 pages: Rogers originally ordered Apple to make changes in their application store, allowing application manufacturers to link their websites inside.
On Wednesday, Rogers accused Apple or tried to violate his ruling, and kept Apple with contempt.
Rogers says he was expected under his ruling that those children of purchases outside the application would not have an Apple commission. Rogers wrote that Apple presented evidence to the Court of Internal Deliberations about its rule that were “tailored for litigation”, instead of Apple’s real internal discussions.
“In marked contrast to the initial testimony on the Apple court, contemporary commercial documents reveal that Apple knew exactly what I was doing every step chose the most anti -petite option,” Rogers wrote. “To hide the truth, Vice President of Finance, Alex Roman, absolute song under oath.”
Rogers ordered, from immediately, so that Apple stops imposing its commissions on purchases made for iPhone applications through web links within an application.
“This is a court order, not a negotiation. It is not carried out once an intentional part ignores a court order,” Rogers wrote.
An Apple representative did not respond to a request for comments. A representative of the epic games did not have an immediate comment.
