Armed police launch of Feud Dawn Raids gangs

Police have arrested six men.

ORGANIZED CRIME AND TERRORISM UNIT, together with firearms officers, executed arrest orders in six properties in the Glasgow area.

The media were invited by one of the raids in Barlanark, while others took place in Maryhill, Hamiltonhill, Milton of Campsie and Wishaw.

There is a series of a series of assaults, shootings and bombing incidents in Glasgow and Edinburgh since March, with a total of 32 people arrested.

Before the last raids, armed officers, detectives and uniformed police officers met at 04:00 for an informative session at the Glasgow Baird Street station.

In the other raids, a 36 -year -old man was also arrested for conspiracy to kill.

A 26 -year -old man was arrested for drug crimes and a 57 -year -old man was arrested in relation to crime crimes.

In Wishaw, a 42 -year -old man, arrested on participation in severe and organized crime.

An amount of class B and £ 46,000 drugs in cash were carried out.

Detch Supp David Ferry said: “These judgments continue to highlight the hard work and dedication of officers to aim those responsible for these attacks.

“While the number of incidents has continued to decrease the beginning of this investigation, I want to reiterate that violence will not be tolerated and will not stop until we bring that answer for this crime to justice.

“We are working tirelessly to build cases and we are following a significant number or lines of research.”

Meanwhile, the police in Edinburgh are investigating whether a deliberate fire attack that saw two burning vehicles outside a house in Craiglockhart is connected to the dispute.

The fire teams excited the two ignition cars outside the house in Pitcairn Gross around 19:45 on Thursday night.

The Police of Scotland said that three suspects dressed in dark clothes were seen leaving the scene in a black hatchback towards Greenbank Drive after the incident.

It occurs less than a month after a house on the same street was also attacked in a deliberate fire.

How the gang dispute was developed

A series of attacks was on March 2 when a car caught fire in the Edinburgh Parrotshot area.

A beauty salon in Leith and a garage in Portobello were also attacked in a period of 10 days.

Later, shots were reported when Bee shot at two properties in Niddrie and Palton in separate incidents.

More fire bomb attacks were reported in another house in Niddrie in early April, just when the first property in Glasgow was attacked in the Rrooyston area.

A carpet business was also hit in Bishopbriggs and other commercial facilities in Kirkintilloch, along with Casas in Glasgow and Steppps.

In April, a 72 -year -old woman and a 12 -year -old boy were attacked in a house in Egilsay Crescent in Milton, Glasgow.
