A man has accused of murder and robbery after an 87 -year -old died in northern London.
The emergency services were called to Goodchild Road in Manor House around 18:00 BST on Tuesday, where the old man and tasks were found in the hospital with fatal injuries.
Peter Augustine, 58, from Horsey, was arrested Thursday.
He has been retained in custody after appearing in the Willesden magistrates court and then will appear at Old Bailey on May 13.
The victim has not been officially appointed, but her relatives are being supported by the Metropolitan Police, the officers said.
The force is appealing for witnesses to communicate with them.
