The Golden State star, Stephen Curry, left in the second quarter of the opening of the second round in Minnesota with a laying in the left ischiotibial. The warriors quickly ruled out their return.

His status for game 2 is also in doubt. Curry will undergo a magnetic resonance on Wednesday, the Warriors chief coach Steve Kerr, confirmed after the 99-88 victory of his team over the Timberwolves.

“We are definitely planning the game so that it is not available on Thursday, but we still don’t know it,” Kerr told journalists.

Curry grabbed on the back of his left leg after hitting a float and immediately went to the locker room, after scoring 13 points in 13 minutes in 5 for 9 shots.

Curry, 37, helped Golden State beat Houston in game 7 of his first round series two nights before.

The four-time NBA champion and 11 times there averaged 24 points per game against the rockets in the first round for the sixth warriors sown.
