Bournemouth agreed an agreement to sign Stade Rennes with the left side Adrien Truffert. The cherries have been hot in the search for the 23 -year -old, who they see a replacement for Milos Kerzez, bound for Liverpool, in the last 10 days.

Andoni Iraola’s team has now reached an agreement with its French counterparts in the £ 14.4 million region, including accessories. Truffert was only one year to run in his contract in Ligue 1 and had tolerated Rennes who was anxious to follow a new challenge.

Alreaty has verbally agreed a long -term contract with Bournemouth and has now received the green light to undergo medical controls. Nottingham Forest and Marseille also had interest in Truffert.

Truffert’s transfer to Bournemouth will only continue if Kerkez is sold to Liverpool, as expected. The cherries keep around £ 45 million for the International Hungary, which enjoyed an excellent 2024/25 season.

The 21 -year -old, who is under contract with Bournemouth until June 2028, began the 38 Premier League games for the club, contributing with two goals and six assists. He is anxious to join Liverpool, who has identified him as a long -term replacement for Andy Robertson, and left the Hungary team last week ‘personal reasons’.

The negotiations between the two clubs were slightly complicated by the technical director of the cherries, Simon Francis, spending time in the United States last week representing Bournemouth in the football tournament. He has been leading conversations with former sports director of Liverpool Richard Hughes, who used to work at Bournemouth.

Mirror Football understands that it is likely that Kostas Tsimikas of second choice to the left of the left, leave the interest of the Premier League and abroad. Robertson, meanwhile, has previously suggested that he is anxious to sign a new contract with Liverpool and has insisted that he is ready to fight for his place on the side.

“We are not dumb, it seems that a potential agreement could be made,” Robertson told the BBC Scotland. “But, until that is done, I am not just a second thought. I support myself, I have confidence in my own ability and that drives me forward.

“I have had eight fantastic years in Liverpool in terms of winning trophies, being a pillar in the team, of what I am incredible proud. I am not getting younger, I cannot change my age, but I still believe and that Gothic.

“I concentrate on myself: you can’t concentrate on other people or who you are competing with. I still think I have a lot to give for many years I can follow. My body feels good at the time.”
