The New York Knicks arrived at the East Conference finals in 25 years and ended the reign for the NBA title of the Boston of the Boston Celtics with amazing ease, reaching a victory of 119-81 in game 6 on Friday night.
Jalen Brunson and Og Anunoby scored 23 points for the Knicks, who will face the Indiana Pacers, the same team with which they are in their last appearance in the final of the conference in 2000. Game 1 is Wednesday night in New York.
The Knicks had a series of playoffs at home from the east of 1999. Then, the celebration began late in the first half of the only installment within the Madison Square Garden and would surely continue at night around the sand.
Mikal Bridges scored 22 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had 21 for the Knicks, whose 38-point Victoria margin was the largest in a postseason game.
