Knicks complete 20-point comeback to stun Celtics in OT thriller

The New York Knicks exceeded a 20-point deficit in the third quarter to stun the Boston Celtics in an extra time thriller 108-105 to open their semifinal confrontation of the Eastern Conference. The Knicks were fighting collectively through the first two rooms of game 1, but their top-five full of stars changed it in the last 20 minutes.

Jalen Brunson scored 20 of his 29 points in the second half and Og Anunoby had 23 or 29 after part time. Mikal Bridges finished the game with only eight points, but played 53 of 53 minutes possible and had three robberies and two blocks.

Bridges also reached a triple triple in the extra period of time, benefits a rebound from the cities of Karl-Anthony. Towns then bowed in a Brunson failure with 1:47 removering in OT to give the Knicks a 108-102 advantage. They did not score after that, but their defense closed it.
