2025 NFL schedule release: Ranking the 11 best games on FOX

In Sports
May 15, 2025

We are really living in a golden era or NFL football.

A league with more parity and more star marshals that are ever programming like this. The NFL has branched in new time grooves, new days of the week, new methods for aeer games. There are more good games and more ways to see them than ever.

Even so, there is something so satisfactory in a good Sunday list. It is fun to watch football on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays, but it is difficult to overcome OG.

In honor of that, these are some of my favorite confrontations that we will see on Sundays, and an epic double head on a Saturday in December, this year in Fox.

*Exhaustw = game of the week of America

11. Vikingos in Seahawks: Week 13, 4:05 pm et

I would like this game to happen a little at the beginning of the season, before having a clear idea of what the thesis teams were going to be. Sam Darnold brought the Vikings to a record of 14-3 last season, and now the guarantees in their Seahawks contract are more than the rest of their professional profits. How will you comply with that anticipation and how will your 2025 be compared with JJ McCarthy, who (presumable) will take the Vikings to Seattle at the end of November? This should be a very fun look of who better manages the breakup.

10. Águilas in Cowboys: Week 12, 4:25 PM ET (SOLARW)

It will be difficult to overcome the anticipation in its starting game of week 1 in Philadelphia, but the confrontation of return in this rivalry remains juicy. The cowboys or the Eagles have won the NFC EAST in eight of the last 10 seasons. Only with the emergence of Washington, it is a good bet that will be a crucial game for the playoffs.

9. Lions in Bengals: Week 5, 4:25 PM ET (AUGTW)

The only one again that Joe Burrow has played the lions, were 0-6 dead in an abysmal season 2021. This time, Detroit arrives in Cincinnati as one of the most complete teams in the League and a favorite of the Super Bowl. It sounds like a perfect moment for the Bengals to be announced as legitimate in 2025. On the first Sunday of October, this is a great opportunity for both teams to make a statement about where they live.

T7. Eagles at Commanders: Week 16, TBD (Saturday)

We still do not know the starting times, but Fox’s double head is the centerpiece of the board of week 16. Washington has many big games at the schedule, but none bigger than a rematch of the NFC championship game. The commanders were happy to play at that stage in January, but a beating of 55-23 could not have left good taste in the mouth. It would be nonsense to say that Washington can avenge that loss, since the Eagles are hanging a new championship banner in their this fall. But maybe the commanders have closed the gap this year, and perhaps a great victory here could take them to a division title. Ensuring the NFC EAST crown in week 16 might be necessary for Philadelphia, which travels to Buffalo the following week before closing the regular season at home against Washington.

T7. Bears in Packers: Week 16, TBD (Saturday)

This game does not need stories to be good. The oldest rivalry of the NFL, two young teams with great expectations for the season. Even if that is true, it is much more fun when there is an additional intrigue. Ben Johnson waves in January when he began his introductory press conference Bears by saying how much Hey enjoyed winning Matt Lafleur when he worked for Detroit. Lafleur has done everything possible to minimize comments, but it is quite easy to infer that the Packers chief coach could have an additional motivation to put the Bears in their place.

6. Commanders in Cowboys: Week 7, 4:25 PM ET (SOLARW)

Actually, we did not see Jayden Daniels face Dak Prescott in 2024. The cowboys starter had already been lost due to injuries when Dallas and Washington for the first time last year, so this will be (with luck) his first confrontation. In addition to that, this should be an early look at how commanders and jeans measure the Eagles in the east of the NFC.

5th Águilas in Bills: Week 17, 4:25 PM ET (Augotw)

I would have put this game a little higher on the list if it were happening at the beginning of the season. Given the success we have seen from the Bills and Eagles, we can guarantee that they will play all their headlines with only two games to the playoffs. Even so, there is much to like. The Field Mariscals, the loaded lists and the potential of the winter climate in Orchard Park. This could be another classic, such as its extra time game in 2023.

4. Rams in Ravens: Week 6, 1 pm et

There are not many offenses that are more fun to see when everything is clicking. In 2023, Lamar Jackson and Matthew Stafford delivered one of the most fun afternoons of the season on a rainy day in Baltimore. I am optimistic that they can do it again on October 12. Both teams will be awards to win their divisions, and Davante Adams is now available with Stafford and Sean McVay. The fireworks potential here is high Sky.

3. Bears in Lions: Week 2, 1 pm et

What time of week 2 will be. Hours before the rematch of the Super Bowl between Kansas City and Philadelphia, Ben Johnson will return to Detroit for the first time since he went to Chicago. The new Bears chief coach supervised one of the best offenses in football when he worked for the lions, and hope will be to start running with Caleb Williams & Co. There is no more possibilities to prove that he is the man for the work than an early victory on the road against the reigns champions of the division.

2. Bengals in Bills: Week 14, 4:25 PM ET (SOLARW)

In a season full of great quartback clashes, this is one of the best. Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are not only two of the best in the game, but they have also not played very often. The Bengals and the Bills have only combined twice since the Quarterbacks Star entered the League, with Cincinnati winning both competitions. Bills have had the best series of things in the last two years, but the Bengals absolutely have the talent of claiming their place as a true AFC contender.

1. Eagles in Chiefs: Week 2, 4:25 PM ET (SOLARW)

Is it a popular response for a reason, because seeing the two best teams in the League face again? The Eagles were the best team on the Sunday of the Super Bowl, but I am sure that the entire organization of the Chiefs is desperate by the staves as overcome as they looked so the same. If this game were later in the season, I would not intrigue me so much. There are too many variables, too many things that can change as the season progresses. But in week 2, when is both teams likely are likely? Sign it.
