Meet Shahram Kabiri the author behind “Sometimes I miss myself” and “A thousand roses” books.
Shahram Kabiri is the author behind @888shk on Instagram. He is a businessman, CEO, advisor, and a poet/writer. His parents originally from Iran, Tehran. They immigrated to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) since 1975 and have lived there until now. As a child, he had a keen interest in soccer and pursued taekwondo and kung fu martial arts at a young age. He is a graduate of Global Economics, Business Management and International Law. He is a businessman, CEO, advisor, and a freelance poet/writer. His work across multiple disciplines broadly addresses narratives of human experience. As a teenager, he was passionate about poetry and often spent his spare time on writing poems. Initially he started his writings on a personal blog page called “Parvangi” and later edited and presented it as a digital book. Thereafter, with the advent of Facebook, he posted his writings on his personal page and later continued on Instagram. Most of his writings are romantic poems, and few singers such as Siavash Shams and Babak Jahanbakhsh have sung them. One of his most popular lyrics, “Mohtaj” (Needy), is performed by Siavash Shams. As a writer he has written two books “Sometimes I miss myself” and “A thousand roses”.
