Welcome to the APPVENT #24DAYSOFAI calendar today, where today we reveal a fantastic tool that helps him take his existing text of most sources (Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint and more) and convert complicated topics or issues into fantastic images.
The tool I am talking about is Napkin.ai. With its easy -to -use characteristics, I love napkin as a tool to learn and teach. As you know, images can often help explain things better than the price, so taking complicated concepts and using the subject in their teaching and learning resources can help students with their learning the subjects.
To help learn to use the tool and demonstrate some use cases (and make today’s publication a little shorter!), I did this brief tutorial demonstrating its key characteristics:

To see my example outputs directly, here is the presentation of the Google slides that I made using the graphics that I generated in napkin: https://bit.ly/napkinaappvent
Educational benefits
This is how today’s revelation can support teaching and learning:
- Improve understanding: The images can divide complex concepts into easy foundation formats, supporting students of all ages and principles UDL.
- Save time: With AI managing design work, you can concentrate on other things instead of having to create images from scratch.
- Promote creativity: Students can use the platform to create their own visual sums, which increases retention through active learning.
Practical applications
There are many practical applications for napkins, but these seem to be some of the main ones:
Lessons planning: Convert the objectives of the lesson or the key points into infographics to support your teaching.
Support learning: Summarize a topic using images, help students process and remember information.
Presentations: Create professional -looking diagrams and graphics so that your presentations are more shocking.
Reports and documentation: Develop images for reports, save manual work hours while improving clarity.
Considerations
As with all the tools of shared in the calendar this year, it is essential:
Verify precision: Make sure the generated images are aligned with their content.
Fulfill the policies: If you use this tool in an educational environment, see the data protection officer for compliance and certainly do not put identifiable information in the tool without previously verify, since this goes against the principles of GDPR.
While the tool is in beta, it is currently completely free to use napkin, however, this is likely to change in the future.
Final thoughts
Visual communication has never been easier. Today’s tool allows you to simplify and share effective complex ideas, so it is a valuable addition to your AI tool kit.
