
The Federation continued to advance in the permanent Kaiser cancer technology portfolio in digital solutions of molecular genomics, coordination of attention, second virtual opinions, symptom management, colon cancer algorithms and cancer survival solutions. In addition, the Federation teams complete the implementation of the National Permanent Kaiser Cancer Expert Program throughout the organization and supported a program for 11 subspecialties.
To address the care gaps, the quality leaders of the Federation delivered clinical recommendations, tested resources and the care plans for Genetic disorders Such as family hypercholesterolemia and Lynch syndrome. They also deployed a genomic module for electronic health records and developed a new clinical training for obstetric hemorrhage, anesthesia and subsequent abortion. More than 44,000 doctors received continuous medical education credit, and around 1,000 doctors maintained the certification.
The advance of high quality care extends to support the health of the community. The Federation helped launch the virtual Food is the center of excellence of medicine. This central resource allows members to access evidence -based interventions and programs aimed at promoting healthier eating habits and improving general health.
New processes to maximize the impact
To further determine the future of medical care at national level, the Federation participated in the working group of the National Committee of Vital and Health Statistics to inform International disease classification, 11Th Review (ICD-11) Policy. The committee also continued its work to support the precise and complete clinical coding in the industry. This included the creation of new classifications for eating and eating disorders (in collaboration with the American Psychiatry Association) and recognizing the state of remission in the standardized coding of type 2 diabetes, which will improve the report of the thesis conditions in the alignment.
The Federation developed and reviewed the key performance rates for the processing of Medicare claims as part of the care program at the end of the life of decent travels. This work helped align the measurement at the market level and expand the scope of the program to include the severe population of diseases.
