Tiya tells us about her first steps in a role behind the scene that maintains the music industry by ticing
I completed my Level 3 data technician apprentice in the DPL distribution team last year. It is a London -based music licenses organization that guarantees that artists and recording rights holders (such as record stamps) are paid when their music is reproduced on radio, television and in public places.
Its members include Central CEE, Anderson .Paak, Rita Ora and Abbas Björn Ulvaeus, Along with orchestras, support vocalists and other artists.
Tell us about the apprentice
I discovered the PPL apprentice through the quality control program and He was paired with a digital learning consultant (DLC) that helped me pass the trip.
My role consisted of collecting and organizing data and solving problems related to the data. I had the opportunity to contribute to projects that went from improving data safety measures to the optimization of data storage and recovery processes. I also supported the implementation of new technologies to optimize data management.
The support I received was brilliant and managed to reach the final evaluation stage earlier than expected.
What did you study?
A variety of modules that cover essential skills and knowledge.
- Data collection and analysis: Delve into the complexities of data acquisition, cleaning, analysis and skills to decipher complex data.
- Database management: Understanding the design of the database, SQL and data integrity, ensuring that we can administer effective data repositories.
- Programming and command sequences: learning languages learning such as Python and mastery of command sequences techniques opened exciting possibilities for automation and data manipulation.
- Cybernetics and Data Privacy: With the growing importance of data safety, this module emphasized the best cyber security practices and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Communication and collaboration: This module perfected our skills to collaborate accessories and present information based on effective data.
I studied in line with virtual sessions in the classroom to help me acquire the fundamental knowledge of the paper. These sessions assured that the theoretical concepts will translate elegantly in practical skills.
What key skills did you develop?
I improved my ability to analyze complex data sets and obtain significant ideas, as well as obtain competence in the management and maintenance of databases, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of the data.
Treating genuine data challenges improved my problem solving skills while collaborating with different teams and interested parties improved my ability to transmit concepts to non -technical audiences.

What were the most prominent aspects?
The most rewarding was the practical experience and the application of theoretical knowledge to the real world scenarios. Working on PPL projects showed the direct impact of data technology in the operations and the success of the company.
The support environment and tutoring provided by experienced professionals also contributed significantly to my experience.
Any advice for those who consider an apprentice?
A learning is a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Hug each learning opportunity that is presented.
Try to take an initiative in your role, ask questions, find additional responsibilities and demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment.
The technology industry is constantly evolving, so be curious and keep up to date with the trends of industry and emerging technologies.
Network with colleagues, mentors and other apprentices when I can. Building strong professional relationships can open doors to future opportunities.

My learning in PPL, tension per year of immersive learning, has been a transformative experience. I hope to explore new opportunities and contribute to the general panorama of data management.
