Police in Birmingham and the black country have seized drugs and weapons of properties throughout the region in recent months, they have revealed.

“More weapons, drugs and serious and organized criminals have been tasks outside the streets of West Midlands by our main proactive teams of the Dedicated Crime Unit (MCPUT),” said a statement from the West Midlands police.

The officers made the discoveries that worked under Operation Target, a coordinated response to the most serious threats to the communities of those involved in firearms, drugs, money laundering and exploitation of young and vulnerable people.

In July, the crime unit arrested a man outside an address in Balsall Heath in a previously planned operation.

When the officers moved, fled, discarding 100 wraps of heroin and cocaine, as well as a rambo knife and mobile phones.

Other searches of the address discovered 900 class A drug wrappings and paraphernalia, with a total value of £ 20,000.

“The suspect now has a leg full of possession with the intention of supplying heroin and cocaine crack, and possession of a knife,” confirmed the officers.

On August 6, the officers raided a house at Aller’s Road, Soho, Birmingham, after receiving information that a firearm was stored there.

“A gun was found, capable of automatic fire and loaded with seven bullets, in a bag that hangs from a garden fence. Two men have now loaded and detained in custody.”

And two days later, a man was arrested after allegedly threatening a relative with a weapon on the side of a pub in Brierley Hill.

The 64 -year -old suspect was a little distance, and additional searches discovered two stunned guns and imitation firearms. He has also stopped custody before trial.

The MCUPT also arrested 11 suspects after Manhunts, where a variety of tactics is used to take the suspects after the end. They were free of crimes, including murders and crimes with firearms.

And nine suspended children’s sexual predators were also heroes, with five already accused of crimes as obscene articles that published and organizing and facilitating child sexual crimes.

Det Int Bryn Robins, from MCPHT, said: “We are committed to prohibiting the most dangerous criminals outside the streets, and the weapons, drugs and cash that are associated with them.

“But we cannot do it without their help. Our work depends on intelligence, and that of the community comes from the community.

“If you know people in their community with access to weapons, they sell drugs or that exploit the vulnerable, make us know that we can take decisive measures.”
