Configuration:

4v4+2 positional game configured as shown in a 30×20 space. The red team consists of a GK, the right defender #2, the left defender #3, the central defensive midfielder #6 and the central midfielder #8. The green team consists of a GK, the right central defender #4, the left central defender #5, the midfielder #10 and the front center #9.

Instructions:

Variation 1: 4v4+2, the GK act as neutral players for both teams and the goal is to maintain possession trying to play through lines and use neutral players on each side. Variation 2: The GKs are now playing directions, so the goal is to build from the GK, through the defenders/midfielders and the highest player (Red 8 or Green 9 and 10). Once they receive the ball, they try to drive on the final line. The defending GK now begins the accumulation that goes the other way. Variation 3: Add two small goals or a great goal for the team to score and defend.

Training points:

Build positional relationships within your game system. Work to create spatial relationships that are realistic for the game. Grant in the speed of the game and the creation of advantages through the execution of the game.

Option: Replace your GKS with your #4 and #5 and insert your #7 and #11 where you were playing their central defenders.
