Introduction: From Hunan to Toronto: Hong Wei Liao was born in Hunan, China. Today, she calls Toronto her home. His trip has tasks in all countries and cultures. Along the way, build a life focused on helping the ethers. Now leads the heritage and the wealth development center of the Botrich family, where it helps the high -level network families that think about more than money.
“I think Legacy is about what we leave in people, not only what we leave them,” he told me.
A Base of Education and Family
Liao has a master’s degree. She raised five children, some in business, others in education and even one in beauty competitions. But for her, the family is not just about blood.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to shine,” he said. “We must guide them with values, not just opportunities.”
That belief inspired her to support young people in North America through tutoring, scholarships and education programs.
BOTRICH BUILDING
As an investor and designer, Liao helped create Botrich Inc., a company focused on family wealth and legacy. His Toronto office connects customers in Canada, the United States and China.
Botrich is not about managing money. It is also a place where people learn about health, law, taxes and retention. Speakers of many fields: finance, well -being, law and more.
“True wealth is measured with purpose and clarity,” he said.
Supporting women and girls
Liao has long supported programs for female leadership. She was appointed Honorary President of Life of the North America United Global Association, and continues to sponsor events and prizes for women.
In 2024, he received the Global Women of Excellence award, his second time receiving the honor. It also has the Diamond Jubilee Medal Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation Medal of King Carlos III, both for community service.
She doesn’t look for attention. His philosophy is simple: “Leadership is about serving in silence. Not to show off, but appear.”
Passion for youth development
One of Liao’s proud efforts is his support for the Canada Youth Financing Association (CyFA). She helps organize galas, conferences and tutoring programs through CyFA.
In events such as The Global Kids Icon Grand Finals and the World Dance World Gala of Vancouver, Liao supports the creative youth of all origins.
“I want them to feel seen, heard and believed,” he said. “Talent needs space to grow.”
Through CyFA, he has helped many students get access to the best schools such as Nyu, Johns Hopkins and Ivy League universities.
Helping the next generation
She not only supports students. She also mentions young entrepreneurs. One of his apprentices is working on a global preparation for the beginning of 3D technology for IPO. She remains in contact with many of them over the years.
“The tutoring is a long trip,” he told me. “It’s not about giving advice. It’s about listening and walking with some.”
He has also worked closely with UNICEF Canada, supporting programs in Ecuador and Gambia focused on childhood education and safety.
Find purpose in arts and culture
Another area near Herart is the arts. For about 17 years, he has supported youth dance programs in Vancouver, especially the annual “dance passion”. The show includes Chinese dance, k-pop, ballet and more.
“It’s not about perfection. It’s about giving children confidence to express who they are,” he said.
She believes that art develops self -esteem and helps children become leaders. She sees it as a way of connecting cultures and communities.
A global perspective with local roots
Liao’s work covers many borders: China, Canada and the United States. Whether giving a speech in Vancouver or organizing a youth banquet in Toronto, it remains in service.
In 2025, she was crowned world honorary champion and global peace ambassador. The prize recognizes their efforts to empower women and promote peace through dialogue and shared understanding.
Even so, she is still modest.
“I am lucky to meet many great people. I just try to make my part,” he said.
Final thoughts
Talking with Hong Wei Liao is like sitting with a quiet force. She is not noisy. She is not striking. But his work says a lot.
Through tutoring, leadership and philanthropy, thousands of lives have played. Its history is constant and reflective.
“Success is not just what we achieved,” he told me. “It is what we inspire on others.”
And that, perhaps, is its greatest legacy.
