Solitaire.io launches Kickstarter campaign for “Mosh Idols Punk Rock playing cards” featuring XR Technology

Solitaire.io, the innovative online card game platform founded by Welsh Gaz Thomas creative entrepreneur, is launching a new bold physical product: Mosh Idols Punk Rock Play Cards.

The sponsors of the Kickstarter campaign, which is now live, will receive a deck of game cards with punk songs improved by extended reality features (XR). When they are seen through a phone camera, the cards come alive, with rockstar characters that make original music and offer interactive games.

Designed for collectors and fans of punk rock, the limited editing deck presents 52 classic letters (more joking), with original works of art of the acclaimed designer Chaz Carter. “Creating the work of art for thesis cards was a true love letter to music in which I grew up and the culture that started,” Carter said. “XR technology makes the characters feel they are waiting to explode and crush.”

This is the first of a new series of collectible decks of Solitaire.O that combines the tactile attractiveness of physical cards with the creative potential of digital technology.
Gaz Thomas, (in the photo) that also executes the popular freeegames.org (with more than five million monthly page views), Solitaire.O developed to reinvent Solitaire Digital for new audiences. His movement towards physical products is based on that impulse: “We are excited to sacrifice collectors and fans of the card game something really unique. These are playable functional letters, but also something else. With original designs inspired by punk and augmented experience.”
The recently growth of Solitaire.Io has been partially supported by the accelerated growth of the growth program, a business initiative of Wales, Thomas joined in 2024. “The accelerator gave me the confidence and practical tools to think bigger.” He helped shape the strategy behind this Kickstarter and has played a key role in our ability to launch products that run digital and physical worlds. “
The Kickstarter will offer followers the opportunity to choose between two versions of the deck, with additional rewards and exclusive content available. The sponsors will also become part of the Solitaire.O community, helping to shape the future of their collection card line.
