A team of 50 stars has been selected to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the International Athletics Party of Loughborough 2025 on Sunday, May 18.

The U20 team presents a mixture of U20 European medalists, British champions and emerging talent, while preparing to face athletes representing Laughborough, England, Scotland, Wales and the National Athletic Couns.

Among the most prominent names in the GB & Ni U20 team this year is Teddy Wilson (Marvin Rowe, Shaftesbury Barnett), the current champion of the Commonwealth Youth Games and the European Record headline of 100m U18 100m. Hello, it is also aligned in a strong 4x100m relay team along Dean Patterson (David Watson, Glasgow Jaguars) and Joel Masters (Jon Cuff, BFTTA), with whom he secured a silver medal in the World Athletics Championship last year.

He also returns to international action (Ashley Bryant, Harriers comes out), who claimed money in the heptatlon in the U18 2024 European championship and will compete in obstacles and high jump events in Laughborough. Otis Poole (Joy Bray, Yate) will join them, the current interior height jump champion of the United Kingdom, and Maddie Down (Mike Bennett, Halesowen), who represented Paralympicsgb both in the weekend T38 100m and long jump.

The medium distance talent Shaikira King (John Skevington, Wreake and Soar Valley) also appears prominently, after having won money in the 800m in the European championship U18 2024 and added a bronze medal in this year’s championships. Its inclusion highlights the depth of young talents that are directed to Laughborough, where the team will play a complete program of events, including the disciplines of Para-Atleta and the relay of mixed genres. With a dynamic combination of experience in emerging championship and promise, this U20 team is well located to adopt the challenges of the opening of the season and establish the tone for a summer of large international competitions.
