
The London Marathon TCS 2025 will incorporate the United Kingdom athletics marathon championship, announced today.
This year’s event on Sunday, April 27, is the first of a new three -year agreement between London Marathon events and the United Kingdom athletics that will make the London marathon the host of the United Kingdom championship until 2027.
It will also serve as the marathon test career for the European Championship of 2026 and the 2027 World Championship.
Among the British athletes who participate in the London TCS Marathon of 2025 are McColgan Eilish, Rose Harvey, Charlotte Purdue, Mahamed Mahamed, Phil Sesemann and Alex Yee.
Hugh Brasher, CEO from London Marathon Events, said: “The TCS London marathon is the most competitive marathon on the planet. It provides a platform so that the best marathon corridors in the United Kingdom are not only composed of each other, but are tested against the best athletes in the world. UKA’s resistance strategy manager, Chris Jones, said:
“We are delighted to confirm the inclusion of UKA marathon championships for the next young years within the TCS London marathon. Also, confirming the trial races for the main championships in 2026 and 2027 Progensemes. They will give British athletes a brilliant opportunity to act at their best.”
