GB&NI U20 TEAM SHINE AT THE LOUGHBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL ATHLETICS MEET

A brilliant day at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium started the outdoor season for the U20 team of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which ended second in general at the Annual International Athletics Meeting 2025 Laughborough.

This event is the starter of the season for many young athletes and a great opportunity to get experience in the championship before summer, especially with the U20 European championship in Finland in August.

The Commonwealth Youth Games Champion and the 100m 100m European Record headline, Teddy Wilson (Marvin Rowe, Shaftesbury Barnett) won the 200 men’s 200 meters in a very fol one race with a time of 21.11. Gallshman Jack Organ (Derek Osborne, Brecon) broke into a 1: 50.80 victory in the male 800m to claim first place.

Jabez Berry (Steve Pearson, Halesowen) threw a personal maximum of 74.14 to win the male hammer shot, carrying it third in the world in its age category. The male relay team ran an impressive 39.54 to win the 4x100M race, near the U20 national record that is 39.05 that was in 2000.

A sterling effort by Dillon Millard (Dave Lee, Taunton AC), who finished second, with a better personal brand of 9: 03.44 in the 3000m Steeple persecution, a quick race with the four best athletes with a new better staff. A third place for Oliver Parker.

After an impressive performance covered in the British championship, Otis Poole (Joy Bray, Yate) jumped to fourth place with a height of 2.08, surrounded Kimani Jack, Who was England representation equipment.
