The public has been advised to avoid the center of Bangor in the county below due to an incident of firearms.

A police service in Ireland of the North (PSNI) Cordon is in its place on the main street of the city.

The videos that circulate on social networks seem to show the armed police on the street that face an individual along with the sound of the shooting epifray.

It is believed that the confrontation is over, with the member of the Ulster Unionist Assembly, Alan Chambers, publishing in X that no one had been in “what was a tense situation.”

“A great appreciation of the PSNI by Howhes managed this incident,” he added.

Andrew Muir of Alliance described him as an “extremely serious and worrying” incident, while his colleague of the party, Connie Egan, said it was “undoubtedly incredible and difficult to accept.”

When publishing in X, the member of the Unionist Assembly of Ulster, Alan Chambers, said that a “number of shots” had been heard and that the police respond while Andrew Muir of Alliance said the police are trying “extremely serious and with respect to the incident.”

“He would urge anyone immediately around Bangor High Street to take refuge inside until the authorities consider it safe.

“I have bone to commit to PSNI and I will continue to do it as things progress.”
