There are many reasons why people prefer to exercise for Themelves and do their own instead of using a personal coach. They could enjoy loneliness to simply move forward with a training to the rhythm they prefer or could be reduced to a cost problem.

All this is fine and I always think you should do whatever you get results.

However, looking at this in general, does the use of a personal coach produce better results than a DIY training? Let’s find out.

How good is your motivation?

I think this is the crucial question that should be asked if it is heavy as long as it does not use a PT.

How good are you yourself, establishing a routine and sticking to it? I have met many people who are excellent in this and can constantly lead to the gym or run; However, if you think you could start falling after a while, using a personal coach is a great method to continue.

In addition to establishing a clear exercise plan that is aligned with its objectives, a personal coach is invaluable to provide breath, tranquility and use other soft skills to help you.

We are promoted results

Many people can achieve the physical conditioning objectives that they wish to resolve on their own.

However, a personal coach is there to help you get the results you want. It is what we are about. Whether this is in shape and training for a new challenge or changing an extra weight, we want to help you.

For me, this is another crucial benefit of using PT in a DIY training. We are there to help you on your trip and, in most cases, you will see the results faster than if you train alone.

It is also important to consider the impact of the fitness plateau. These can be incredible difficult to overcome alone and lead many people simply surrender.

While a personal coach won the guarantee that he will get on a fitness plateau, we do help greatly mixing his routine, observing his nutritional intake and encouraged to continue.

Personal coach versus DIY training: which is more effective?

I arrive through this interesting study that analyzed the difference between 66 men who divided into three categories (self -dusation, training with a couple and training with a PT) around a period of 12 weeks.

He showed that the group that was trained by a personal coach achieved a better fat reduction, a better nutritional intake and suffered less injuries and discomfort when he worked compared to the other participants.

Now, this is a study and I know that using a personal coach will not be for everyone. However, I think it shows that if you are in the fence on the use of a PT, there are many benefits that will help you achieve your physical conditioning objectives and establish an exercise routine with which you stay.
