
Shai Gilgous-Alexander scored 31 points, and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Denver Nuggets 112-105 on Tuesday night to climb 3-2 in his semifinal series of the West Conference.
Oklahoma City exceeded a 44 points and 15 rebounds of Nikola Jokic de Denver. The Thunder can ensure the series on Thursday in Denver.
Gilgous-Alexander made 12 or 23 field goals and had seven assists. The LED six Thunder players in double figures.
Jokic made 17 or 25 shots. Jamal Murray de Denver scored 28 points, but made only 10 or 27 shots. No other Denver player scored more than 13 points.
Oklahoma City ran to an advantage of 12-2, and it seemed that it could be like The Thunder’s victory in game 2. Denver made one of his first nine shots, and that was a setback from Jokic.
Denver recovered and led by 11 in the second quarter, Butklahoma City closed strong and continued 56-54 in part time. Jokic had 19 points and nine rebounds before the break.
Denver took control at the beginning of the third quarter. Murray scored 13 points in the period and Jokic added 12 to help Nuggets take an 86-78 advantage in the fourth.
Lu Dort of Oklahoma City, who scored three points in the first three quarters, connected three triples in a period of two minutes to reduce Denver’s advantage to 92-90 in the middle of the fourth.
Jokic connected a deep 3 -point Fadeaway to tie the game in 103 before Oklahoma City closed it. Triple by Jalen Williams with 1:18 Remaining gave the Thunder an advantage of 106-103, and the three of Gilgouses-Alexander with 48 seconds for traveling pushed the advantage of Oklahoma City to six.
