The Peter Jones Foundation and FRP join forces to expand the National Entrepreneur of the Year Competition

The Peter Jones Foundation has announced a new association with the leading business advice firm, FRP, to significantly expand its national competition of national companies of the year.

Now open to all young 16 and 21 -year -old entrepreneurs, the competition will see the Regional Finals hosts of FRP throughout the United Kingdom, highlighting the young most promising business founders of all corners of the country. The Association aims to unlock opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs from unattended communities and undercutter background, providing a powerful platform for the next generation of business leaders.

The five regional winners will present their business to a panel of high profile judges that includes Peter Jones CBE and Geoff Rowley, CEO of FRP. The general winner will be crowned in the prestigious annual awards ceremony of the Foundation in November and will receive a subsidy of £ 10,000 to help grow their business. Additional cash awards include £ 1,000 for each regional winner and £ 5,000 for the runner -up, each finalist will also benefit from an expert mentoring year.

To run, candidates must send a business plan and an elevator tone video. The competition has launched the careers of several outstanding entrepreneurs, including Ross Bailey, founder of Aparther, who has raised more than $ 20 million in risk capital funds; David Humpston, founder of Viewpoint Videos and one of the youngest people to receive a Virgin start loan; and Miah Maddock-Hodgins, winner of last year and founder of MCR Education Hub, an inclusive innovative educational platform that is dedicated to supporting young people who face barriers for conventional education, such as sending Lear and those in the elective home.
