Aaron Gordon sinks another game-winner as Nuggets steal Game 1 in OKC

Nikola Jokic had 42 points and 22 rebounds, and Aaron Gordon reached a triple in the final seconds to give the Denver Nuggets an impressive 121-119 victory over the best conference of Oklahoma City Thunder at Monday’s conference in game 1 of their western game of their west.

Oklahoma City, out of waiting time, a despair launch was lost when time expired.

Russell Westbrook of Denver, who began his career with El Thunder, helped in the winner of Gordon’s game. It was his first playoff game in Oklahoma City as an opposite player.

Gordon finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Jamal Murray added 21 points for the sealing room nuggets, who stole the first game after closing a series of seven games against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Denver’s opportunity occurred after Chet Holmgren of Oklahoma City lost two free throws with the thunder leading by a point.

Shai Gilgous-Alexander had 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for Thunder, who had played in more than a week after sweeping the Mephis Grizzlies in the first round. Alex Caruso added 20 points, six assists and five robberies.

Jokic took three fouls duration of a two -minute stretch in the third quarter after committing only one foul in the first half. He stayed in the game with the Thunder leading 73-64.

The Nuggets closed the gap at 90-85 at the end of the third quarter.

With the Thunder leading 104-95 and just under seven minutes removing, Jokic co-said Lu Dort in the head on a trip, and the work was reviewed. The play was governed a flagrant 1 in Jokic, his fifth foul, and Dort made two free throws.

Denver spent the rest of the game by closing the gap.
