Fan falls from 21-foot Clemente Wall at PNC Park during Cubs-Pirates game

A fan fell from the 21 -foot Clement wall in the right garden in the PNC Park Duration game on Wednesday night between the Pittsburgh pirates and the Chicago puppies.

Just after Andrew McCutchen connected a double two races in the seventh inning to put the pirates ahead 4-3, players frantically beg for medical staff. The fan was treated for approximately five minutes, then it was removed from the field in a cart.

You could see the players of both teams praying and McCutchen held a cross that hung from the neck while the fan was tasks off the field.

After the game, the pirates issued a statement.

“Tonight, duration of the seventh input of the game in PNC Park, an adult man fell from the stands of the right field in the field of play,” reads the statement.

“Pittsburgh EMS, as well as the Atlético de los Pirates and puppies training teams and other PNC Park personnel reacted and responded immediately and administered attention. He was transported to the Allegheny General Hospital.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”
