Laila Ait Rahou

With two decades of experience in global market she has been in-charge of managing the Moroccan business Marketing & Sales delivery objectives with different role such as marketer, trade marketer and sales in various FMCG categories, Laila Ait Rahlou holds strong leadership and management skills to implement result oriented strategy that helped her gain in-depth knowledge of the local market and MENA Market as Morocco was an export hub to beneficiate from all free and interesting duties with Arabic and French African Markets.

For the time Interval Nov 2014 to December 2018, she was designated as General Manager at Jacobs Douwe Egberts MA (JDE), there she was responsible to review Morocco business model to improve efficiency and profitability, while doing so, she built a strong and highly engaged local team for new route-to-market implementation supporting a double-digit annual business growth and also the spin-off of the coffee business from Mondelez in Morocco.

Prior to this she was the Manager Sales Modern Trade and Away From, Mondelez Internationals Dec 2013 to Nov 2014. Here, she successfully combined MT & AFH organization set up after the integration of Bimo, negotiated key MT contract with key banners and launched execution in all Banners.

For the time period Feb 2008 to April 2014, she was National Away from Home Sales Manager, Kraft foods Morocco, responsible for successfully optimizing new AFH organization set up and new product launch in the mainstream segment with double digit growth by improvising distribution network, constraints and market needs. She also served as Trade Marketing Manager at Kraft Foods Morocco from Nov 2005 to Jan 2008, mentoring and setting up sales operation defining pictures of success and supervised the launch of Samar soluble which presently stands 2nd in its segment.

The inception to her professional career was at Lesieur Cristal, where she was designated as Marketing Manager from Oct 1999 to November 2005 with the responsibility to implement marketing strategy defining category marketing and production constraints.

Laila Ait Rahlou holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA)-1999, in marketing from Ecole Superieure de commerce de Toulouse/ESC Toulouse, France and Baccalaureate Certificate-Lycee Cadi Ayad- Marrakech. She is multi-lingual and can speak Arabic (Oral & written), French (Oral & written) her second language, English (Oral & Written), Berber(Oral).
